PRIVACY POLICY

The privacy and confidentiality of clients is important to “ArtBag” registered with the Commercial Register of Latvia (registration No. 4010327124). This policy applies to the collection, use, disclosure and protection of Personal Data, relating to clients of “ArtBag” and users of site “artbag.lv” (“Site”).
“Data Subject” means an individual who may be directly or indirectly identified. “Personal Data” means any information related to an identified or identifiable individual, including but not limited to name, last name, identification number, address, or other personal characteristics. Personal Data is not considered aggregated statistic or anonymous data, compilations, or other derivative data that cannot be used, alone or with other data, to identify a specific individual.
Scope of Processing
“ArtBag” undertakes to collect and/or maintain only such Personal Data that is relevant to or required for the conduct of “ArtBag” business activities. „ArtBag” also undertakes to apply reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the processed Personal Data.
„ArtBag” will process the Personal Data as confidential and will take all appropriate means and controls to prevent any unauthorized access. „ArtBag” is collecting and processing the Personal Data only for the purposes of fulfillment of „ArtBag”’s obligations and in compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
Personal Data will not be transferred to any third persons, except it is consented by the Data Subject, it is necessary for the fulfillment of mutual contractual obligations of „ArtBag” or Data subject or otherwise authorized or requested in accordance with applicable laws.
Accuracy, Completeness and Updating
„ArtBag” undertakes to maintain Personal Data accurately and relies on its customers, suppliers, and other third persons providing the Personal Data, to ensure that the provided Personal Data is complete and accurate.
In case of necessity the Data Subject may modify, supplement or delete the Personal Data held on his/her User account at any time.
Registration
If the client has decided to register with the Site, the client will be asked to provide his/her name, last name, address, email, and other Data. “ArtBag” may use the provided information to personalize and continually improve the experience at the Site. This may include but is not limited to presenting promotional offers online or via email with client’s consent or in accordance with applicable laws, tailored in accordance with client’s previous purchases.
Security
„ArtBag” will treat all processed Personal Data as confidential, and maintain internal procedures and controls designed to prevent unauthorized use, access, disclosure, copying, modification or destruction and all reasonable measures are taken to maintain the safety, integrity and privacy of Personal Data
Using
„ArtBag” will only process Personal Data fairly and lawfully and will not use respective Personal Data for purposes that are incompatible with the purposes for which „ArtBag” has received the Personal Data.
The Personal Data collected on client will be processed by „ArtBag” in order to: to process orders; to assist „ArtBag” to improve the Site and client’s online experience; to provide the client with information about „ArtBag”’s products and services; for ordering, customer support, payment, processing and service purposes; and as otherwise allowed by laws.
Online Ordering
If the client places an order online, „ArtBag” needs to know client’s name, last name, email address, phone number, mailing address and data related to the payment arrangements (e.g., credit card number and the credit card's expiration date). This allows „ArtBag” to process and fulfill the client’s orders and keep the client up-to-date on the status of client’s order.
Surveys and Contests
„ArtBag” occasionally conducts surveys or hold contests on the Site. While these activities are voluntary, it often requires „ArtBag” to request information from the client if client chooses to participate. The survey results are gathered and displayed to other Site users to show client peers' viewpoints on topical information. The contest information will be used to administer the contest and notify the contest winners, unless otherwise stated at the time of entry.
Email Communications with „ArtBag”
If the client are registered with the Site or has separately chosen to receive the updating emails from „ArtBag”, „ArtBag” will occasionally send such emails to the client about various „ArtBag”’s products and services, including special offers and/or about the Site features and changes that might be of interest for the client. The client can also withdraw his/her consent for the receiving of the emails at any time by simply sending an email, including his/her name and email address, to info@artbag.lv and „ArtBag” will remove client from all mailings.
Minors
„ArtBag” does not sell products for purchase by minors. The products may be bought for minors by adults. If the client is under 18, he/she may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Cookies
„ArtBag” may also collect Personal Data concerning website users through the use of "cookies" in order to provide better customer service. "Cookies" are files that websites place on users’ computers to identify the user and enhance the website experience. Internet browsers can generally be set to warn the client if cookies are used and whether the client wishes to accept them. Turning off cookies will not prohibit the client from using the Site, it may, however, limit the client’s possibilities to use the Site.
Third Parties
„ArtBag” will not transfer Personal Data to third parties, except as required in for reasonable business practice and provided that those third parties preserve the confidentiality and maintain appropriate security of Personal Data. In order to maintain cooperation with „ArtBag”’s vendors, subcontractors, strategic partners, and others who assist „ArtBag” and its customers in the conduct of respective businesses, „ArtBag” may transfer Personal Data to these parties to enable the cooperation with them. Nevertheless, in such cases „ArtBag” will require that these partners agree to use the information solely for the purpose for which it was provided to them and in accordance with applicable laws.
„ArtBag” will take reasonable efforts to ensure that whenever Personal Data is transferred to foreign countries, it will remain adequately protected.
It is „ArtBag” commitment not to transfer Personal Data to any entity, individual, or organization located in countries that do not provide an adequate level of data protection, unless:
- The transfers are needed for the conclusion or performance of a contract concluded in the client’s interest;
- The transfers are needed to enter into or perform a contract of the client;
- The client has given his/her consent;
- The transfers are permitted under applicable laws.
Personal information transferred to another country may be subject to all the laws of that country, including laws related to national security and anti-terrorism, which may permit law enforcement or regulatory agencies to obtain access to information held by private businesses.
Access to Personal Data
Upon reasonable written request, „ArtBag” will inform the Data Subject on the Personal Data „ArtBag” has processed about him/her, source of the data (if allowed by the law to be disclosed), date when modifications were last made to the Personal Data, the purposes for which Personal Data is processed, the recipients or categories of recipients and whether any automatic processing takes place. „ArtBag” will take steps to correct or delete any inaccuracies in Personal Data pointed out, either directly or through making available self-service mechanisms. „ArtBag” will endeavor to notify recipients of the client’s Personal Data of such changes where required. However, „ArtBag” may limit access, corrections, or deletions as permitted or required by applicable laws or regulations. „ArtBag” may establish reasonable rules for providing access to Personal Data, including procedures and fees for responding to such requests for access.
Enforcement
„ArtBag” may change this Privacy Policy from time to time as it deems appropriate. This Privacy Policy is made public on the website of „ArtBag” and is current as of the date written above.
