It is very easy to design your own custom made handbag!

Here in few minutes we will explain how to use the ArtBag's design tool to create your own bag. If you wish you can also watch the tutorial video we have prepared for you on the homepage.

At the  section you can choose the model you wish to edit further. Choose the shape you like and drag and drop it with your mouse on the platform. On the left side of the platform you will find the description and parameters of the particular model. Use the  button to see additional photos of the bag. 

ArtBag offers more than 20 different handbag shapes and models in several categories designed for everyday use, for holidays or evening events and a night out. After you have chosen the shape you like proceed to the next step.

At the handle section you can choose various handles for the shape you have picked out. ArtBag offers to choose handles from different materials as well as to add additional handles for the shapes that has such an option. If you choose a textile handle you will be able to choose the textile at the next section.

At the textiles section let your imagination fly and fulfill your ideas to create exactly the bag you want. You can see small  signs on the different parts of the bag that indicate the different areas you can apply the textures on. On the right side of the platform you have more than 100 different types of textile and other materials in several categories that can be applied to the handbag. On the left side you will find the description of the material. Note that different shapes have different available textiles and materials according to their compatibility. Drag and drop the desired materials on the different parts of the handbag. There are many types and tones of the materials so feel free to scroll down and take your time to experiment.

Now your bag is almost ready but you can still choose some of the accessories created by the designers of ArtBag. Similarly to other sections you can drag and drop the accessories on signs. You can remove the accessories by clicking on them with the mouse and selecting . You can browse through the categories on the right and see the descriptions of the selected items on the left. All the accessories are removable in the real life and can be attached to wherever you like.

  
If the “handle” of “accessories” section is inactive it means that there are no handles or accessories available for the particular handbag shape. 

Congratulations! You have successfully created your own bag. Now you can choose between several options:

Add your bag to the cart, order it and receive your own designed handbag in about two weeks.

Share your bag
If you wish to share the bag with your friends or ask for an opinion you can share it either on Twitter, Facebook or Frype. Your friends will be able to see your handbag, rate it and comment on your choices.

Designer's advice
If you do not feel safe about your decision and you want an opinion of a professional fashion designer use the “Designer's advice” option. The handbag you have created along with your question or comments will be sent to one of ArtBag's designers. In a few days time we will send you any comments we have or new handbag designs created by ArtBag designer. This options is available only for registered users. See here for more details
