Due to  clients’requests, we have placed the ethnic  version of Kalla model into our bag constructor. Exactly Kalla ethnic bags were the most required, right after custom made bags.Now everyone can creat his own Kalla bag with textile details. Ethnic collection was launched last year in November and has become a bestseller. There are three ethnic Kalla models in the constructor, though the main tone can be created from more than 100 materials.

In the honour of National day of Latvia ArtBag team has created a special handbag collection inspired by Latvian national costumes. This collection will be presented at the Seattle Latvian Centre, Washington, USA on Saturday, November 12. Two bags from the collection will be auctioned at a fundraiser during the Seattle Latvian Centre Annual bazaar. The collection is also available at www.artbagdesign.com  online store, as well as in partner stores starting from November 10.
"The folkloristic woollen textile holds strong national symbols and bright colours. We wanted to create modern products that bring along the heritage of our ancestors," Zane Lase-Lasmane, creator of ArtBag comments on the new collection.
The collection includes three models that have already gained the recognition of ArtBag customers - Mella, Kalla and Perra. Their decorative elements are made from national costumes’ textiles from three historical regions of Latvia - Latgale, Kurzeme and Vidzeme. Each of these regions has countless combinations of tones and ornaments in their costumes. However, the designers of ArtBag have selected the textures that seem to represent each region most appropriately.
